Rose Dufton is an emerging contemporary visual artist living and creating in Leeds, England. Previously trained in print design Rose graduated from Leeds college of art with a first class BA(hons) degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. This love of pattern has lead Rose to become passionate about colour, texture, and shape. Rose seeks to connect with natural landscapes through drawing, painting, attempting to capture the emotions experienced whilst being held by Mother Nature. Culminating in a practise that sits somewhere between abstraction and representation.
